Oatmeal

A simple, comforting oatmeal recipe made with your preferred liquid and finished with toppings like sliced bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, or anything you love.

Ingredients

1/2 cup oat blend 

1 1/4 cups preferred liquid (milk, coconut milk, water, etc.) 

1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1. 

In a small sauce pan, add liquid of choice and salt.


Step 2. 

Stir well and bring to a simmer.


Step 3. 

Add oat blend and stir well.


Step 4. 

Allow to cook, stirring every 3 minutes for 45 minutes or until oats are cooked and liquid is absorbed.


Step 5. 

If oats are too thick or begin to stick together, add a little liquid until desired consistency is reached.


Step 6. 

Enjoy with sliced bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, or other topping.
